Hemostop-A, paste with iodoform used for wound treatment after tooth extraction. Non-resorbable paste that is applied after complicated tooth extraction and in acute alveolitis. Fast and prolonged analgesic effect. Fast hemostasis and rapid formation of clot(within 10 seconds). Helps in adequate wound healing. Does not damage the mucous membrane. Iodoform in this paste provides antibacterial effect, lidocaine relieves pain and calcium enhances the formation of the primary osteoid in the cavity.
